Tickitbou was established in 1989 and is owned and operated by Rhoda, Wally  and Kyle Ace. We are a small, Canadian kennel located in the Province of Ontario, just 20 minutes south of our Nation's Capital Ottawa, in the small village of Osgoode .    The foundation for our Kennel rested on two dogs that were imported from the UK, Ch. Rupik Double Back CDOM,our foundation bitch    and

Am. Can. Ch. Dorfhaus Spyker Rupik CSOM, our foundation sire.  Without these two amazing specimens of the breed, I am certain we would not have been able to produce the consistent quality of dogs as we have over the years. Tickitbou Boxers has be fortunate to have been honored by the Boxer Club of Canada over the years.  We have 4 times been awarded Dam of the year.  We have received Puppy of the Year on several occasions and we have also been awarded Breeder of the Year, not to mention numerous Sire of Merit awards and Dam of Merit awards. The goals of Tickitbou have always been to produce a sound, healthy Boxer, that excels in beauty, health and temperament. Our dogs can be found in both the show and obedience rings, but more importantly in Family homes. Our breeding philosophy is based on the "Whole" dog. We  pay careful attention to our breeding program, selecting dogs that are both beautiful and healthy.  We believe in a natural approach to rearing,and all our dogs are fed a Species Appropriate Diet, thus creating a healthier immune system better able to deal with today's environmental stresses. Puppies are available occasionally to approved homes with safe fenced yards, and the desire to work with the breeder for the life of the dog.  All our pet puppies are sold on CKC registered non-breeding agreements and are guaranteed to the age of 3.  Any dogs that are used in our breeding program have been examined by a board certified Cardiologist and have been deemed "heart normal".    We welcome visitors by appointment only.
