We have been involved with this enchanting little breed since Kodak (BPIS Ch. Manitoba's Picture Perfect) joined our family in December 1999.  The Griff is a robust little dog that can be both a clown and the guardian.  Originally bred to be a ratter in the stables, they are now a much adored family companion.

The Griff comes in two coat varieties, the rough, and the smooth.  "Kodak" pictured above is of the smooth variety, and Crackers (Am. Can. Ch. Tickitbou's Cracker Jack) is of the rough variety.  The smooth is a wash and wear, but the rough does require routine grooming to maintain this appearance.

Tickitbou has bred several Champions over the years, but our two most special boys are Am. Can. Ch. Tickitbou's Cracker Jack, and Ch. Tickitbou's Suspense (Spencer who is pictured).   Griffs also come in a variety of coat colours.  Red, Black, Black and Tan and Belge.  Kodak is considered a Belge, Cracker is Red and Spencer is Black and Tan.

After a brief hiatus from breeding, we are excitedly anticipating our first Griff litter in years.  Parisfield Cadence (Am pointed)(Am.Ch. Lorrickbrook Red on Arrival ex Am. Ch. Ardenada's Woman In the Moon) has been bred to Can. Ch. Tickitbou's Suspends (Ch. Manitoba's Picture Perfect ex Ch. Tickitbou's Hollywood Harlot).  We will be expecting both coat varieties and red, belge and black and tan puppies.
