Tickitbou was established in 1989 and is owned and operated by Rhoda, Wally  and Kyle Ace. We are a small kennel located just 20 minutes south of the Nation's Capital. Our goals at Tickitbou are to produce a sound, healthy Boxer, that excels in both beauty and temperament. Our dogs can be found in both the show and obedience rings, but more importantly in Family homes. Our breeding philosophy is based on the "Whole" dog.We  pay careful attention to our breeding programme, selecting dogs that are both beautiful and healthy.  We believe in a natural approach to rearing,and all our dogs are fed a Species Appropriate Diet thus creating a healthier immune system better able to deal with today's environmental stresses.

The Boxers share the kennel with our son's passion, English Pointers. Kyle, with our support has jumped into the breed with both feet, and he has acquired 3 beautiful Pointers from the top kennels in Canada and the US.  He hopes to soon begin his own breeding program under the Yackityak prefix.  You can visit the Pointer pages here or from the menu above.

Both Boxer and Pointer puppies are available to approved homes with safe fenced yards and warm couches.  We welcome visitors by appointment
